CHIP TIMING & RESULTS
All of our events are chip timed by Eclectic Edge Racing. Results will be available at the red timing truck and online at www.EclecticEdgeRacing.com. You can also click on our results tab at the top of our website to see results.
PACKET PICK UP
Race bibs, shirts and packets will be available at Belknap Hot Springs Lodge & Gardens in the dining hall during the following times:
Friday, May 10th, 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Saturday, May 11, 7 am - 9:15 am
Sunday, May 12, 7 am - 9:15 am
Bibs will be taken to the start lines 45 minutes before each race starts. If you pick up your race bib at the start line and you ordered a shirt, it will be available for you to pick up at the results tent.
It is not necessary to have the race bib on to get on the shuttle bus, which will pick up under the awning in front of the lodge at Belknap, but it is necessary to register to participate in the event. Any turkeys, people who run the race without paying will be approached by organizers. "Pacing" or running unregistered for part of the race or entirely for which we have secured permits, insurance, etc. is not permitted under any circumstance.
BAG CHECK AT THE START LINES
Bring your own bag or use our drop bags at the start line and clearly write your name AND bib number on your bag. All bags must be labeled and inside Buffy, the Pink Buffalo black van, 5 minutes before your start time. All bags can be picked up at the finish line at the results tent. If you leave your bag at the finish line, you can request it to be mailed to you and cover the cost of shipping by emailing Piper@PinkBuffaloRacing.com. Include your name, phone number, items, and mailing address.
COURSE LIMIT & TRAIL ETIQUETTE
The course limit for the 18 mile run is 5 hours, which is 16:40 per mile. Racers must make it to the following trail head aid stations by the following times:
TRAIL BRIDGE, Mile 8 - 11:15 am
DEER CREEK, Mile 13 - 12:45 pm
BUCK BRIDGE, Mile 16.5 - 1:35 pm
BELKNAP, Mile 18 - 2 pm
(Mileage at aid stations is approximate)
HALF MARATHON COURSE LIMIT
The course limit is 4 hours. Racers must make it to the following trail head stations by these times:
DEER CREEK, Mile 5 - 10:30 am
BUCK BRIDGE, Mile 8.5 - 11:30 am
BELKNAP, Mile 13.1 - 1 pm
5 MILE COURSE LIMIT
All 5 Mile participants must finish in 1:30 hours
Participants who do not make it to these locations by the cut off times will be pulled from the course and driven back to the finish line.
Please respect the trail and do not throw any trash, especially energy gel wrappers, on the trail. Wait until you reach an aid station to toss your trash. If you are passing someone, please call out, "On your left!" before you pass. The trail is open to regular day users, so please make sure you are respectful of their experience. Thank you in advance.
POST RACE REFRESHMENTS
After you finish, enjoy a complimentary lunch in the dining area, provided by Pink Buffalo Racing. Spectators should plan to bring their own food & beverages.
Shirts will be available for pre-order through the online registration process & they are $24/each through February 28. Some shirts will be available for purchase on Friday at Belknap and on Saturday morning at the finish line.
For the safety of participants, dogs are not allowed on the course. Please do not leave your dog in your car at the finish line.
CANCELLATION & TRANSFER POLICY
You can transfer your entry to another person through 48 hours prior to the race for a $10 fee. Do not wear someone else's bib number without transferring. All who participate must register. Pacing without registering is prohibited. CLICK HERE TO TRANSFER
RULES FOR TRANSFERRING AN ENTRY: Once an entry has been transferred through the process below, the entry cannot be transferred to another person, or back to the original registrant. If a shirt was ordered, the original shirt size ordered will be given to the new registrant. The new registrant may exchange the shirt for a different size at packet pick up table on the for sale shirt race. There are no refunds, partial refunds or deferrals to future years or other events. The transferer and transferee are responsible for squaring up payment of the entry fee and transfer fee - no refunds or checks will be written by the race director. No exceptions will be made. No variations of this procedure will be accepted. By transferring an entry through the method below, you acknowledge these rules.
Hot Springs Trail Runs, hosted by Pink Buffalo Productions LLC, operates under a special use permit with USDA Willamette National Forest, and is an equal opportunity outdoor recreation service provider.
