"We camped at Smith Rock State park in the walk-in bivouac area. It was super nice! There were plenty of spots available with gorgeous views. Also, there were bathrooms with running water and even a community dish-sink right next to the cooking area. You can only make fires and cook on your propane stove in the designated cooking area because everything is so dry, but it totally worked out. There were plenty of picnic tables and people were friendly. We brought a deck of cards and made a few friends." - Megan Hobbs, 2014 & 2015 Camper, Monkey Face Half Marathon

Fly to Redmond Airport for a 20 minute drive to the start line! The airport resembles its gorgeous high desert ambiance and it is very convenient to travel up HWY 20 to Terrebonne. The airport code is RDM.

In Terrebonne, we recommend Terrebonne Depot Food & Drink and in Redmond, we recommend 7th Street Brew House and E BarGrill.
